Big Moon 03:58
Big Moon ……………………M. Kirby Waiting for the moon to rise. And light the last of winter’s skies. We stand below by our bonfires, Waiting for the moon to rise, chor So we can dance! all through the night, Underneath this big moon bright. Till we fall down beside the fire With someone to love somebody to love. Waiting for the Spring to come, And melt the ice in everyone. Let the frost and fear fall free, Reach out your hand and come with me …to the Dance all through the night Underneath this big moon bright. Till we fall down beside the fire, With someone to love somebody to love!

Dirty Little Town……………. M. Kirby Chor) It’s a Dirty little town It’s a dirty little town It’s a dirty little town ‘round here tonight Even the sun won’t shine down on this town Even the moon wont rise up here anymore Even the stars stay behind the clouds of Magellan They won’t be shining here tonight Even the Trees are ashamed to be seen CHOR) Even the dogs won’t walk down these streets Even the birds won’t sing their songs here anymore Even the smallest of creatures, know this is no place To try to make a stand Even the Gods have given up on this place

Ecstasy 03:36
Ecstasy M. Kirby Theresa is dancing on her own The boys know to leave her alone They just like to watch her sway. They won’t get in the way Of her Ecstasy 2)Theresa is gliding through the night. She’s giving off her own light She is no longer in this room, she has given herself to Her ecstasy (Amen!) ecstasy (Amen!) Chorus Theresa is dancing in the pale moonlight, With a lover only she can see. Sainthood is still so very far away, But tonight she is in her ecstasy (Amen!) Ecstasy (Amen) 3) Sainthood’s a really hard way. You just try livin’it day after day. The only thing helping it go easy Is all the opportunities For Ecstasy

Heat, Then Rain M.Kirby All day long the heat has been building. Shimmering over the roads and hills. Seeping into the darkest hollows and Building until, until the clouds are full, Building until the clouds are filled. With Heat, then Rain , Heat, Then Rain, Heat, then Rain, Why can’t we just cool down? The heat covers everything. Everyone, everywhere. The Heat is inescapable. It gets in your skin and it gets in your affairs, Gets into all of your affairs . BR) And As I watched you walk away, Resigned to leaving it all alone. Regret and heat hang in the air, How could we just let it go? Into Heat, then Rain etc The clouds have had just about enough. They need to release their flood. Sheets of heat lightning flash out a warning, Its Time to wash all of our sins into mud, Turn all my sin into mud. (Rap section) When the night is waitin like the night before And your fever is breaking, but it’s still in your pores. In the fire and flood of the heart and the blood They’re all washed away, covered in clay. Your dreams and your longings and all your belongings And the sins of the day, are now just a stain. And all that remains of the pleasure and pain is your heart and your name and the heat, then the rain. In the heat , in the night, A spark can ignite. Like a bonfire light, like you’re doing it right. Like a star, like a sun, like the truth on your tongue . Like a dream on the street coming true, turning sweet. Where the girls go up and the town goes down and the heat’s like a wolf just hangin’ around. And the town goes up and the girls go down and the boys, like the heat, are just hangin around in the heat … Where the heat leads, where the sweat beads, Where the clouds meet, where the thunder repeats, Where the heart and the feet and the floor all meet To dance off the fever and dance off the heat.

Little Black Suitcase M. Kirby Down by the railway station, waiting on a train. Got my whole life in a little black suitcase, settin’ in the rain. I’m getting out of this stinkin’ town, and I won’t be back again. You can count on a train to show up on time To get me ‘round the bend! Oh you can Count on it! You can count on it, you can count on it!! 2) Down by the crossroads I am trying to flag me a ride. Got my guitar and my little black suitcase, settin’ by my side. You can count on your suitcase and you can count on your guitar. You can count on the boys in this stupid little town, To break your foolish heart. Oh you can count on it , You can count on it, you can count on it. I wonder if they’re thinking about me, and talkin’ about me an’ all. While the boys are drinkin’ down at the VFW pool hall Oh you can count on it! You can count on it! You can count on it!!! 3) Down by that railway station, still waiting on that train. Got my guitar and my little black suitcase, settin’ in the rain!! I’m getting out of this stinkin’ town, I won’t be back again!! You can count on it!

Ruby 03:29
RUBY …. Steve Anderson There's a lot of guys who think you’re something But that other guy, He hurt you so bad So your pulling yourself together at the quiet end of the bar Come on now , Ruby, Ruby, oh Ruby, don’t you take it so hard, Cause there’s a lot of guys who want to get to know you But that other guy, he’s still on your mind So you’re pushin’ down the Drambuie, So the painful feelings don’t start Come on now Ruby, Ruby, Ruby, don’t take it so hard Don’t you take it so hard, I don’t think you’re really trying He’s not worth all of that crying Come on Ruby yeah Come on Ru –by

White Rabbit 02:35
WHITE RABBIT- Grace Slick One pill makes you larger and one pill makes you small and the ones that mother gives you don't do anything at all go ask Alice when she's ten feet tall And if you go chasing rabbits and you know you're going to fall Tell'em a hooka smoking caterpillar has given you the cord Call Alice when she was just small When men on the chessboard get up and tell you where to go and you just had some kind of mushroom and your mind is movinslow go ask Alice, I think she'll know When logic and proportion have fallen sloppy dead and the white knight is talking backwards and the red queen's off with her head Remember what the Doormouse said Feed your head! Feed your head!

2009 –The Year Of The Phoenix M. Kirby Two thousand, nine was the year of the Phoenix. My whole life burned to the ground. It took some time to crawl out of the ashes, And make it to safer ground. Oh and it burned, how it burned, I watched it all burn down. It Burned and it burned, ‘Till it was ashes on the ground. 2) Two thousand, nine was the year of the Phoenix. I died and came back to life. I burned so hot, I was vulcanized, Reduced to Iron and Light. Oh, and it burned, how it burned. I let it all burn down. Burn, baby, burn! ‘Till its just ashes on the ground 3) So now it’s time for the first flight of the Phoenix The fledgling’s wings are unfurled It’s time to test the wingspan and power And fly out into the world Oh, Fly! Baby, fly! Let’s see how high you can go Fly baby! fly! Just leave the ashes down below Just leave the ashes (3x)
